For Ever Green Shirt

In 2003, the Associated Students of Colorado State University started the ForEverGreen tradition. At its beginning, five thousand green shirts, carrying student-voted artwork, were given to students throughout the year. The ForEverGreen t-shirt has the CSU Fight Song on the back of the shirt and a different design on the front every year. Each spring, students submit different artwork designs which incorporate the Ram’s head logo and the year of the University’s founding (1870). The finalists are voted on by the general student body during the annual ASCSU election. A ForEverGreen shirt is given to each incoming student every year in order to instill Ram Pride that builds a sense of community and loyalty to Colorado State University and reminds students that being a CSU Ram is more than just going to class or cheering at football games. Being a Ram is a way of life and even once they leave the campus, the t-shirt will serve as a reminder and a symbol of pride that they will always be ForEverGreen.

Voting takes place April 4, 5, 6 on RAMweb, in the Lory Student Center, and at Morgan Library. The winner will be announced at 6:30 p.m. on April 6 with the announcement of the ASCSU Presidential election.
