ASCSU Updates

ASCSU Applications for Election Candidacy 

President/Vice-President Application: Google Form 

Speaker of the Senate Application: Google Form 

Senator Application: Google Form 

Applications will close at the end of the campaigning period on March 14th, 2025 at 5:00pm. 

Write-in candidates will be eligible to run for office if they: file a Declaration of Candidacy with the Elections Manager before the voting period opens; attend a one-on-one election orientation session with the Elections Manager before the end of the voting period; meet the eligibility requirements stated in Article VIII of the ASCSU Constitution; and submit all required campaign finance related materials to the Elections Manager by noon on the last day of voting. 

Details on Candidate Certification and Eligibility can be found in Article VIII of the ASCSU Constitution and Section VII of the ASCSU Referenda and Elections Code.

Your Monthly Report For Dec/Jan/Feb are due March 3rd, 2025 @5pm

Sentate Updates for 2/26/25 
-The Senate will be meeting at 7 PM to accommodate the CRC Senators meeting with Amy Parsons.
-The Senate is prepared to move to one of the ballrooms to accommodate a large gallery input if needed.

Campus Engagement


State of the Association: 

State of the Association is ASCSU’s model event that resembles the state of the union, where members of ASCSU take the time to reflect and look back over the year and speak to our community about our Impact this year.

State of the Association will take place:

  • March 5th
  • 6:00-8:30 PM
  • Michael Smith Alumni Center
  • *Cabinet will be cancelled this night*
  • *Senate will be cancelled this night*
  • Attendance is highly encouraged

If you are inclined to speak at the State of the Association please submit your speeches to the link here, BEFORE FEB 14th, 2025. ALL speeches that are submitted will be reviewed and considered based on quality opposed to positionality within the organization.

All speeches should address your department’s impact on campus, and should be generally engaging to a crowd of 250+ Students/Faculty/Community and Administration etc…
