Project Homeless Connect is Friday, April 18 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM!
Project Homeless Connect is a one-day event that provides individuals and families currently experiencing homelessness or a risk of experiencing homelessness with access to vital services such as rapid housing and employment support, basic medical exams, ID/legal service, and much more. When you sign up to serve as a volunteer navigator, you’ll be paired with individuals and families seeking services and will help them navigate the event. You can sign up to volunteer from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM OR 12:00PM – 2:00PM (or the whole day!).
Volunteers receive the following:
- Absence Letter for class for this CSU Sanctioned Event (if needed)
- Volunteer Training prior to the event
- Free T-shirt
- Breakfast Burrito or Lunch

CSUnity: A National Volunteer Month CAMmunity Tradition
Back for its 28th year, this beloved CSU tradition is a chance to give back to the Fort Collins community by supporting older adult neighbors and local nonprofits prepare for spring! CSUnity is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM.
Volunteer projects may include:
- Cleaning decks, patios, garages, sheds, and outdoor furniture
- Cleaning first-floor gutters, windows, and wells
- Environmental work (trail maintenance, waterway cleanup)
- Lawn mowing, weeding, and basic landscaping
- Organizing, sorting goods, and prepping flower beds/gardens
- Trimming bushes/trees/plants
- And more!
Volunteers will be placed with community agencies or local neighbors within Fort Collins city limits.
- Registration Deadline: 8:00 AM on Monday, April 7, 2025
- Initial Team Leader Registration Steps:
- Complete the Online Team Leader Training
- Recruit Committed Volunteers
- Identify Team Size & Potential Sub-Team Leaders
- Sign Up Your Volunteer Team by submitting a Team Registration Form
- Important Notes:
- Registration is first-come, first-serve; once we reach capacity, additional registrations will be waitlisted.
- Teams of 5+ volunteers (students, faculty, staff) can sign up together. Individual volunteers will be matched with a team led by SLiCE.
- All volunteers must complete the Volunteer Waiver, available on the CSUnity website, by Monday, April 14.
- Transportation is not provided.
- Rain or Shine: The event will take place as scheduled unless there’s severe weather. SLiCE will determine if cancellation is necessary.
