Growing Food Security Volunteering
Growing Food Security is a student-led project that grows fresh produce for the Rams Against Hunger Pantry. Each year, they grow and donate over 10,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables, helping promote food security on campus.
Volunteering with Growing Food Security is a great way to meet fellow students and staff from across CSU, gain hands-on experience in growing healthy food, and make a tangible impact in our community. No prior experience is needed, and all commitment levels are welcome! Plus, volunteers get free access to fresh produce.
Weekly volunteer events are hosted from May through October at CSU’s ARDEC South farm, which is a short drive from campus.
