School is Cool Needs Your Help
Every child deserves a strong start to the school year, and Colorado State University community members can help make it a reality.
School is Cool — CSU’s signature outreach effort to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to Poudre School District — is back for its 34th year. The CSU employee-led program is seeking donations and volunteers to help more than 2,500 students in nearly 50 area schools. The annual volunteer event is set for August 5th – 7th.

Join New Era for a Fort Collins House Party
A Message from Student Body President Nunley:
I’m co-hosting a house party in support of New Era Colorado on Sunday, September 7, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Join us to learn about their work to build young people’s political power and be in community with other values-aligned people.
New Era is turning young people out to vote in municipal elections across the state this November, including right here in Fort Collins. In addition to their unmatched voter turnout program, they are endorsing local candidates for the very first time. Endorsed Youth Agenda Champions are committed to making bold progress on the issues impacting young people’s lives and protecting our communities from federal attacks. We have the opportunity to build a bench of progressive leaders and harness lasting power as we gear up for the midterms next year. Join us to learn more about New Era’s programs and how you can support the future young people deserve!
Please RSVP here and feel free to pass this invite along to your friends and networks that may be interested as well! All are welcome.
If you can’t attend but want to donate to this important work, you may do so here.
I hope to see you there!
Jakye Nunley
