Complete your Student Quality of Work-Life Survey
Hi ASCSU, please fill out the Student Quality of Work-Life survey sent to your email by Blanche Hughes and Duan Ruff. ALL PAID ASCSU REPRESENTATIVES received this email – let Elisa or Julia know if you can’t find it. This is a survey the Division of Student Affairs references to determine how well we are supporting student employees. It only takes about 10 minutes, and we’d appreciate if ASCSU showed out with our participation!

Join ALL IN

Are you interested in understanding and developing CSU’s commitment to democratic engagement on campus and beyond? Join the ALL IN Student Committee through SLiCE. Details below. If you have questions or would like to participate, reach out to Julia Pratt at [email protected].

What is ALL IN?

The ALL IN for Democracy Challenge is a national initiative connecting institutions of higher education in their missions to promote democratic engagement on campus and beyond. Campuses opt in to the ALL IN challenge and create democratic engagement action plans every two years. These plans are then evaluated over the course of two-year periods ahead of the creation of new action plans. You can look at CSU’s history with ALL IN here.

ALL IN and CSU

Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement houses the work of creating and evaluating ALL IN action plans for CSU. This process is largely archival, meaning we collect information on what folks are doing (and what they plan to do) across campus (and in our community) and compile it. We also help connect folks interested in democratic engagement work to resources and other campus and community partners that may be helpful. We track this data by keeping our ears to the ground, staying engaged in our campus and community, and doing intentional outreach to partners.

ALL IN Student Committee

Introduction the AISC. This will be a small working group of students assisting with the data collection and outreach process associated with ALL IN. Students will reach out to campus and community partners to pulse check their efforts surrounding democratic engagement. They will then help keep our documents around those partners updated so that we have the most accurate information to build out our ALL IN action plans. Students will be assigned specific partners to outreach to OR categories of partners to build out and gather novel data on (e.g., community partners). There are specific data points we are interested in collecting from partners, which will be shared with committee members ahead of outreach.
