ACT Human Rights Film Festival

Each spring, Colorado State University’s ACT Human Rights Film Festival welcomes films and filmmakers from around the world to Fort Collins. Celebrating its 11th year, ACT has become Northern Colorado’s largest and longest-running film festival. A discounted all-festival pass ($40) for students is on sale now, and no code is needed. You can also get two free film tickets thanks to SLiCE. When the film lineup and festival schedule are released in March 2026, use the discount code SLiCE26 to claim free film tickets.

The New York Times

ASCSU and C2C have partnered together to offer all CSU employees and students free New York Times digital subscriptions. To access your digital subscription, please go to the Access NYT page, select Colorado State University from the drop-down and then follow the prompts to sign up for access.  Faculty and staff will need to repeat the process annually.  For more information, please see the NYT Library Guide and watch the Access Video to help you get started!

The Rocky Mountain Collegian

The Collegian was founded as a campus newspaper by students, for students, in 1891. Now, more than 130 years later, the Collegian is a 7-day-a-week digital publication and learning lab that strives to keep the campus community and the rest of Northern Colorado informed of the latest happenings, issues, and controversies. The Collegian publishes a weekly print newspaper, shares updates on all social media platforms, and produces a pair of email newsletters: The Stump, a 4-day-a-week collection of the day’s top headlines and most compelling stories, and Ram Report, a weekly roundup of the best sports content from the Collegian, KCSU, and CTV Channel 11. USA Today and The Coloradoan

In partnership with ASCSU, C2C is excited to share that USA Today digital subscriptions are also free for all CSU employees and students. With the USA Today Digital Education program, students and faculty can seamlessly access USA Today across devices, ensuring flexibility and convenience.  

Access will not just be limited to USA Today eNewspaper, but will include USA Today website/app, podcasts, tailored newsletters, and eNewspaper for all our 200+ local publications (including the Coloradoan). Click for full list of publications by state: Local Brands Map – Gannett.

To sign up please complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the sign-up page.
  2. Provide your first name, last name, and email address. The email address you use must end with @colostate.edu                       
  3. Check your inbox for an activation email. It usually arrives quickly but can take up to an hour. Please check your spam and/or junk folder if you don’t receive it within an hour. 
  4. Within the activation email, click on the “Activate My Digital Access” button to reach the Create Account page.
  5. On the Create Account page, enter your first name, last name, email address, and then create a password. Next, click “Create Account.

Note: The email address you enter here must be the same email address you used in step 2.

USA Today

University Center for the Arts

Your RAMCard is your ticket to the University Center for the Arts (UCA)! Full-fee paying students (enrolled in six or more credits) can receive one no-charge ticket to all music, theatre, and dance department events at the UCA*.

Tickets are available online, by phone, or at the UCA Ticket Office, both in advance and night of show. A valid RAMCard must be presented for ticket redemption. Tickets are limited to one per student for each performance/series of performances (i.e. multiple theatre or dance performances of the same show). Excludes Classical Convergence and community produced events.Student tickets are non-transferrable. Non-students entering with a student ticket will have the ticket revoked and privileges will be suspended.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Students must have tickets scanned for entry at least 10 minutes prior to curtain or their tickets may be released for sale to other patrons and will not be re-issued.

Campus SafeWalk

Colorado State University Police Department provides SafeWalk—a student escort trained in safety and security who can walk you to your car or a location within a few blocks of campus.

 The escorts are Campus Service Officers, or CSOs, who are friendly CSUPD student employees who walk any student or employee to class, their car, or a nearby off-campus location from dusk until dawn, seven days a week, year-round. In extremely cold weather, the CSOs may also have access to a warm vehicle for the escort.

The CSU Writing Center offers free, inclusive, and cooperative feedback on academic, personal, and professional writing projects for all students, faculty, and staff. 

Whether you prefer face-to-face consultations in Eddy Hall or the Morgan Library, real-time online sessions, or written feedback through an online queue, their consultants provide a supportive environment to help you refine your drafts and grow as a writer.

On March 7, 2023, the Office of the Provost launched free campuswide access to LinkedIn Learning, a robust online learning resource, for all CSU students. 

Providing access to LinkedIn Learning campuswide is part of the Office of the Provost’s strong commitment to provide ongoing learning opportunities for student success.

RamTech

RAMtech is Colorado State University’s on-campus authorized technology store, now conveniently located within the CSU Bookstore in the Lory Student Center. As an Apple Authorized Campus Store and Microsoft Authorized Reseller, RAMtech offers educational discounts on a wide range of hardware and accessories, including MacBooks, iPads, and PCs, with the added benefit of allowing enrolled students to charge one major device and accessory per semester directly to their student account.

The Assistive Technology Resource Center

The Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC) provides assistive technology supports and services to CSU students who have a disability. Services include assessments, accommodations, training, equipment loans, and resources.

The Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT)

The Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT) at Colorado State University supports academic achievement and post-graduation success by providing students with essential resources like free tutoring, academic coaching, and workshops on study strategies. 

Located on the historic Oval, TILT also houses the Office of Undergraduate Research and Artistry and offers guidance on nationally competitive scholarships, fellowships, and service-learning opportunities to help students excel both inside and outside the classroom.

Aggie Appetite

Hungry? Save more with Aggie Appetite! Fuel your studies without breaking the bank. Aggie Appetite offers year-round, exclusive meal deals at your favorite Lory Student Center and campus dining spots. From $4 snacks to $10 gourmet lunches at the Aspen Grille, being a Ram has never tasted so good or cost so little.

Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center

Nutrition Counseling at the Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center is a one-on-one service where you can meet with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to discuss your health goals and needs, including grocery shopping, cooking, meal planning suggestions, and more! This service is available to CSU students at a discounted rate of $60 for an Initial 50-minute Appointment (non-student cost is $110) and $36 for a 30-minute Follow-up Appointment (non-student cost is $60). Group programs like Eating Disorder Support Group and Intuitive Eating Practice Group are available to students at a 50% discount rate (rates vary by program type). 

The Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center offers a variety of other key services as well, such as: The Body Project @ CSU, Diet and Nutrition Coaching, Cooking Classes, Recipes, and Group Classes.

Ram Country Meats

Ram Country Meats is an educational facility within the Department of Animal Sciences that provides students and the Fort Collins community with high-quality beef, pork, lamb, and specialty sausages at competitive prices. 

Located at the JBS Global Food Innovation Center, this student-run operation offers a retail shop and 24/7 online ordering for convenient curbside pickup, while providing Colorado State University students with essential hands-on experience in meat processing, food safety, and retail management.

Colorado State Parks Passes

CSU students can now use the library as a ticket to the outdoors—with the new Check Out Colorado State Parks Passes available at Morgan Library.

Anyone with a library card—your CSU RamCard—can check out a parks pass that allows one vehicle entry into any of Colorado’s 42 state parks. The passes can be checked out for up to one week at a time—enough time for a weekend camping trip or to visit several parks to explore bike-friendly trails, hike, or as an incentive to get a fishing license. Each pass also comes with a pack filled with items useful for an outdoor adventure.

CSU Athletics

CSU students enjoy free admission to all home athletic events by logging into the CSU athletics website with their NetID to claim tickets, which are then automatically uploaded to their RamCard for easy entry at the gates. 

Students also have the option to purchase up to two guest passes per game at a reduced cost, provided those guests are current high school or college students who can present a valid school ID along with their mobile ticket upon arrival.

CSU Dance Community Classes

CSU Dance provides free community classes on select Saturdays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the University Center for the Arts (UCA). The mission of these classes is to provide an accessible and inclusive environment for community members of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to explore movement.

These sessions are taught by a diverse group of instructors, including CSU Dance faculty, students, and invited guest artists. This initiative offers a way for the community to engage directly with the dance department outside of the music, theatre, and dance performances typically hosted at the UCA.

Apply for a passport right here at Colorado State University through the Office of International Programs. Serving both the CSU community and the public, our trained staff can answer questions, process documents, and can even take your passport photo for you!

Transfort Bus Routes

Transfort provides several key bus routes that serve the Colorado State University campus and the broader Fort Collins community. As a CSU student, you can ride all Transfort buses for free by presenting your RamCard to the driver.

Major Routes for CSU Students

  • Around the Horn: A free on-campus shuttle that loops every 10–20 minutes, connecting Moby Arena, the Lory Student Center (CTC), and the University Center for the Arts.

  • MAX Bus Rapid Transit: Runs north and south along Mason Street, providing quick access to Old Town, grocery stores, and the South Transit Center.

  • Route 31 & 32: These are high-frequency “Campus West” routes. Route 31 runs along Plum Street, while Route 32 loops through Elizabeth, Overland, and Prospect.

  • The GOLD Route: A late-night weekend service (Friday and Saturday, 10:30 PM – 2:30 AM) that connects Campus West and Downtown for safe travel

The Spoke

The Spoke is Colorado State University’s student-run bicycle education and repair shop, dedicated to empowering students through hands-on learning and sustainable transportation. Supported by student fees, The Spoke provides free labor for students who engage in the repair process with our mechanics, making bike maintenance both affordable and educational. Students only pay for parts, keeping cycling accessible for our entire campus community.

ZipCar

Zipcar provides Colorado State University students aged 18 and older with a convenient and affordable alternative to having a car on campus, offering on-demand access to vehicles parked right at the university. For a discounted annual membership fee, students can reserve cars by the hour or day with gas, secondary insurance, and 180 miles per day included, making it easy to run errands or head off-campus for the weekend without the hassles of ownership.
