Senators must…
- Be enrolled in at least one on-campus credit
- Work 5 hours per week outside of Senate sessions
- Be in good standing with CSU and ASCSU
Senators are responsible for…
- Attending all Senate sessions on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
- Writing legislation concerning CSU students
- Representing their council or SDPS office
- Attending mandatory diversity workshops
- Adhering to ASCSU governing documents
- Understanding parliamentary procedure and bill-writing
Senators are held accountable to…
- You, the student body, via ASCSU general election
- Their respective council or SDPS office
- Speaker of the Senate

- Work 3 hours per week outside of Senate sessions
- Be in good standing with CSU and ASCSU

- Attending at least 1 of every 3 Senate sessions
- Writing legislation concerning CSU students
- Representing their council or SDPS office
- Voting on behalf of an absent senator
- Attending mandatory diversity workshops
- Adhering to ASCSU governing documents
- Understanding parliamentary procedure and bill-writing
