BUDGETARY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Budgetary Affairs is responsible for keeping track of all financial spending for the 50th Senate. Any bill that allocates Senate funds will have to go through the Budgetary Affairs Committee. This is a great committee for anyone interested in advocating for how Senate student fees are allocated.

The Budgetary Affairs Committee meets on Fridays, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

INTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Internal Affairs is all about efficiency, consistency, and building strong checks and balances for ASCSU. This committee is tasked with amending the Constitution and Bylaws to ensure that our organization is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. This is a great committee for anyone interested in enhancing the impact and operations of ASCSU.

The Internal Affairs Committee meets on Mondays, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

UNIVERSITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

University Affairs is tasked with listening to CSU students to create legislation that addresses needs on campus. The committee will receive any legislation relating to campus-wide issues, as well as issues pertaining to CSU and its interaction with other student governments in the state.

The University Affairs Committee meets on Tuesdays, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

WOMEN’S CAUCUS

The mission statement of the Women’s Caucus is to “promote legislation, programming, and a sense of community to empower women and gender diverse students in the organization and student body.”

The Women’s Caucus meets on Thursdays, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The ASCSU Senate serves as a representative body which makes decisions on behalf of the 33,000+ students on the Fort Collins campus. The Senate makes all final decisions for the association, managing governing documents, passing resolutions, and forming policy which shapes how the ASCSU interacts with campus and students.
